A spray herbicide product

in the form of water-dispersible granules (WG) to control annual dicotyledonous weeds in winter and summer wheat, winter and summer barley, winter and summer common oat, winter rye and winter wheat-rye hybrid (triticale).

Action of the product

LECTOR Max contains tribenuron-methyl (sulfonylurea) and florasulam (triazolopyrimidine) as active substances. Both belong to the group of so-called ALS-inhibiting herbicides, substances that inhibit the activity of the key acetolactate synthase enzyme. This inhibition manifests itself in the arrest of cell division in meristematic plant tissues, limited transport of assimilates through the phloem, and subsequent growth arrest. After application, both active substances are rapidly absorbed by the leaves and, for a limited time, by the roots. Humidity and temperatures above 10 °C increase the effectiveness of the product. Sensitive weeds will stop growing almost immediately after application. Under optimal conditions, symptoms of damage (chlorosis and necrosis on top leaves, gradual wilting and drying of weeds) will appear within 10 days, up to a maximum of 2 weeks, after application.
