A spray herbicide selective product

in the form of an emulsifiable concentrate (EC) for the post-emergence control of annual monocotyledonous weeds and mildew in sugar beet and winter oilseed rape.

Action of the product

ALMIRO®Quizalofop is a selective post-emergence herbicide against annual and perennial monocotyledonous (grass-like) weeds. The product acts systemically. Quizalofop-P-ethyl, the active substance, penetrates the leaves of emerging weeds and is distributed through the meristematic tissue to the entire plant. The mechanism of action involves inhibiting fatty acid synthesis, which destroys the tissues in susceptible grasses. Affected sensitive weeds stop growing and gradually die. Adequate temperature and humidity promote the product’s effectiveness.
