ALMIRO®Flufenacet

A spray herbicide product

in the form of a suspension concentrate (SC) designed to control monocotyledonous and dicotyledonous annual weeds in winter wheat and winter barley in the autumn period.

Action of the product:

ALMIRO® Flufenacet has high efficacy on foxtail, ryegrass, bromes and resistant populations of silky abrostis. It has secondary efficacy on some dicotyledonous weeds (e.g. scentless chamomile and chickweed).

The active substance—flufenacet—is mainly taken up by the roots and hypocotyls of germinating weeds. It remains active in the soil for many weeks after application, resulting in high herbicidal efficacy even at later times. The high efficiency of the product is supported by optimum soil moisture. The best herbicidal effect is achieved when the product is used in the early stages of weed development, i.e. at the time of germination or shortly after germination, at the seedling stage.
