To this day, ALMIRO®customers know about and continue to use ALTRON® Silver New. The product's strength lies mainly in the combination of supporting substances with various mechanisms of action, the content of macro- and microelements, and the complex of organic acids and monosaccharides, all stabilised in a colloidal solution of nanosilver. Combining these substances has created a unique product in the Czech market.
It’s been a long time coming, but the popular and widely used ALTRON Silver New now comes in an improved form.
More than twenty years of experience and the constant drive to innovate resulted in the launch of ALMIRO®Altron+ at the beginning of 2024. The use of the unique ALMIRO®TECHNOLOGY in the production puts the product at the forefront of the category of plant biostimulants. The new generation focuses on providing cutting-edge solutions for plant growth and health. The unique combination of multiple compounds, the higher stability of the substances in the product and the applied solution, the more efficient absorption into the plant, and especially the high stabilisation of yields in the long term, underline the overall excellence of this product. Customers can already try out ALMIRO®Altron+ during spring regeneration, which is definitely not to be underestimated.
Why apply ALMIRO® Altron+ biostimulant in spring
Winter crops need to recover sufficiently after the winter and start their metabolism. In early spring, it is essential to focus on promoting root mass growth. A stronger root system means better nutrient uptake from the soil and higher fertilisation efficiency. ALMIRO®Altron+ offers rapid activation of plant growth and development. Its great advantage is its use for all crops and at all plant growth stages. Spring applications, along with fungicides and insecticides, positively influence the effectiveness of the pesticides used and promote balanced crop development overall. Foliar application is recommended at a rate of 0.3 l/ha. It is important to remember that proper support for spring regeneration of winter crops will, in many cases, impact final yield and quality.
Reliable herbicide protection
The onset of spring is not just about crop regeneration; many areas of winter cereals will need herbicide treatment. LECTOR Max provides reliable protection for winter and summer cereals in spring. It contains the two proven active substances florasulam and tribenuron-methyl. This two-component herbicide is therefore an ideal solution for the control of cereal crops against dicotyledonous weeds such as bedstraw, chamomile, dead-nettle, cornflower, poppy, goosefoot, forget-me-not, violet, thistle, rape seed cast, and all brassica weeds. The high selectivity to the treated crops is complemented very well by the possible product application in Protection Zone II for groundwater and surface water. Its use is given by the weed growth stage at the time of application. The dose of 25 g/ha should be applied as early as possible in spring from fully developed cotyledons to the stage of the 6th true leaf (max. to the 8th true leaf). LECTOR Max offers a cost-effective and efficient solution for herbicide control of your cereal crops.
ALMIRO®Quizalofop can be used to combat cereal seed cast and wheatgrass. It is a selective post-emergence herbicide against annual and perennial monocotyledonous weeds. It contains quizalofop-P-ethyl as the active substance and is registered for use in oilseed rape and sugar beet.
Effective against diseases
ALMIRO®Tebuconazole provides spring protection against phoma rot, brassica alternaria leaf spot, and cylindrosporiosis in winter oilseed rape. As the name suggests, it is a systemic fungicide product with tebuconazole as the active substance. It is characterised by preventive and curative efficacy and is also registered for winter cereals and summer barley. The recommended dosage is 0.5 l/ha.
Triple power
ALMIRO®Fungicides, a multi-component fungicide product, provides an interesting combination of three active substances—difenoconazole, azoxystrobin and tebuconazole. It is a reliable fungicide against a range of diseases that are important from an economic point of view. It can be used especially against leaf spots, rusts, mildew and brown spot in barley, as well as for the protection of winter oilseed rape against grey mould. The product is applied as a preventive measure or immediately after the appearance of the first signs of disease at a rate of 0.9–1 l/ha.
ALMIRO has a total of four fungicides in its portfolio, one of which is Patel 300 EC. It contains prothioconazole as the active substance, which is considered one of the most effective azoles. Patel 300 EC is a broad-spectrum fungicide with registration for cereals and oilseed rape, whose great advantage is its use against cereal diseases practically throughout the entire application period. From diseases of culm foot through leaf diseases up to ear diseases. It is applied separately by spraying at a rate of 0.65 l/ha. Patel 300 EC can be used as such and is an excellent partner for many other fungicides as well.
One of them is COMMODOR, which concludes the fungicide segment. This is a broad-spectrum fungicide containing azoxystrobin as the active substance. It has a long-lasting effect and can prevent the development of a new infection. The product has a strong green effect and is mainly preventive against a wide range of fungal diseases of cereal crops and winter oilseed rape. COMMODOR is applied at the recommended rate of 0.8 – 1.0 l/ha.
